Yarra Valley Wineries

First of all..SELAMAT HARI RAYA TO ALL! =)

Well yday we went to Yarra Valley which is famous for its wineries..

According to Wikipedia (I know I know..Not a very reliable source..but what the heck!):

The Yarra Valley is the name given to the region surrounding the Yarra River in Melbourne. The river originates in the Yarra Ranges approximately 60 kilometres east of Melbourne and flows towards and into the city of Melbourne and out into Port Phillip Bay. The name Yarra Valley is usually used in reference to the upper regions surrounding the Yarra River and usually does not encompass the lower regions including the city and inner city suburbs. It is a popular day-trip and tourist area, partly for the area's considerable natural beauty but also for the local produce, particularly wines. The Yarra Valley is home to many good quality wineries as well as the popular Lilydale to Warburton Rail Trail. Agriculturally, the term is mainly applied to the agricultural area east of Melbourne rather than the lower reaches in the suburbs of Melbourne itself, and the upper reaches which are in inaccessible bushland.

The region's relatively cool climate makes it particularly known for the production of high-quality chardonnay and pinot noir, as well as the production of premium sparkling wine.

Towns include:

• Yarra Glen
• Healesville
• Warburton

Yea..so that's basically it! So yeap..we started off about 1pm and reached there around 2.10pm...1+ hour drive..The peeps who went on this outing: Harris, Michelle, Gwen and of course, Me..

Well..first of all we stopped by Oakridge Vineyard to have lunch...THE FOOD WAS AWESOME (except for one or two)!!

We ordered a couple of stuff from the menu..Harris ordered some spaghetti thingy (didn't really like the look of it =P), Gwen ordered Lamb Fillets which were awesome and Michelle and I ordered duck leg which was very very good! We ordered a couple of desserts: Chocolate platter and erm..."Cheesecake"..Lol..

After lunch and all we tried some of the wines Oakridge has to offer..Honestly speaking, their wines are *blegh*..Then we headed outside to take some piccys!

Ok done about last time..its about today! lol..I just came back from Ballarat just now! it was fun..Ballarat used to be a place for gold mining and now its a tourist attraction. Yea...so today went with Harris and Michelle to Ballarat around 10.30+ am..1 over hour journey-109KM..

After lunch, we went to our main agenda: Gold Rush Mini Golf! There is an outdoor and an indoor mini golf course. Both 18 holes and we had lotsa lotsa fun!

after a long long time of not blogging....IM BACK after a long hectic term!! just finished my last paper yday...it was pretty alright...hopefully i get awesome results for my exams..*cross fingers* oh well...lotsa things happened...Trinity Ball, Drama Exam, End of year exams...so now im free and counting down to.................GOING BACK TO MALAYSIA!!!! yipppeeeeee!!!!! anyone wanna go out wid me?? quick quick...book me....after got waiting list...hahaha....jk jk...

hmmm...now lemme talk bout my drama exam!! it went pretty alright....not too bad...teacher said it was gud...hopefully can get 9 out of 10 or more! hehe....had fun all year in drama classes...missing it now...T.T cant play play in class d....sigh....oh well....

I SPRAINED MY ANKLE!!!

boohooo....i sprained my right ankle...so dum...=( it happened last week...wednesday nite...d nite before my DRAMA EXAM! we were practising our drama piece...at one scene, my fren is supposed to push me down to d floor...well....wen i was landing.....*drum rolls* i fell on my ankle!!! argh!!! so sad...den we had to change our drama script like at 9PM! and drama exam starts at 9+AM! gosh! but oh well...we managed to pull through it...teacher said "you did a great job even with a buggered leg"..haha...so happy! i did a survey and everybody liked my group's drama d most out of the 3 groups in my class..and till now my ankle still hurts...sob sob...its painful to walk,sleep,sit and drive! bah....stuff it....i bought an ankle guard jux now...its supposed to give my ankle a better support compared to the bandage...and oh ya...my damn rash is still not goin away! argh!!

One Sien-ded Week..

Today in Planet Shakers City Church we had our very first live church recording...recording has been going on since saturday nite and both d sunday services...so cool...new songs...cant wait for the album to come out!
some of u might think.."eh...i tot PS alwiz got live recording wan??" if u read carefully...i said
live CHURCH recording...hehe...cox everytime they record during d PS conferences or in studio ma...so today first time record in church! ^^ its jux so cool to be part of the recording and everything was awesome! and a fren of mine got saved! wooooooohooooooooooo~~ and one of our cell fren who brought like 5 frens and all of them got saved...walaueh....5 in one shot leh...not bad man..haha...

well..im down with rashes since friday...dunno y...T.T so 'san fu'...itchy itchy...*scratch scratch* and dd rash comes once in a while...it comes in spot...like i got mosquito bites all over my body lo...look so ugly..like a diseased person...=( oh well...hopefully it will heal soon! im sure it will!

i've been preparing for my drama exam with my group since a few weeks bac...exam dis thursday! hopefully we will do gud and get chun-ded marks! we showed our teacher on thursday and oso today our whole drama sketch..and he's happy wid it...no comments and no changes! hahaha...so happy...so dis tuesday and wednesday we doin a final practice wid d other groups from my class...hopefully all goes well...

oh oh...and friday i went for my college's talent quest! not too bad la...some suck in singing...some okla...but my fren won d talent quest! she is d onli special participant who din sing...she did CONTORTION! some ppl might not noe wat contortion is....contortion is the act of twisting your body...its sooo cool man..she can twist her body dat her head can touch her leg...chun...haha...she has been doin it since d age of 10 and have been secretly practicing in d bathroom cox her mum doesnt approve her doin contortion..dunno y...i would be happy man...so cool skill...haha...here are two pics of her doin it...

I saw the lunar eclipse!!!

weeeeee~ i saw lunar eclipse...its beeeeuuutiiiiiffffuuuuullll...so red...but den...it will turn bac to normal...sigh...how i wish it'll be red all d time...chun-ded rite...hahaha...if anyone dunno wats a lunar eclipse...ahem ahem...let me explain with this diagram...
